The May Day Bank Holiday weekend means that the borough’s bin collections will be a day later next week (week commencing 31st May). Returning to normal on Monday 7th June. To check which containers you need to present just visit www.telford.gov.uk/bindayfinder
Our Household Recycling Centres, at Hortonwood and Halesfield, are open over the bank holiday weekend. They are currently operating with extending their opening hours to 8am to 6pm, seven days a week from Monday 22 March to Sunday 6 June 2021. As of Monday 7th June, the hours will return to 9am - 5pm Sunday to Friday with extended hours on Saturdays of 8am -6pm, returning to normal on 30th October.
We would also remind those who do have to visit, to be prepared to queue and be respectful to staff at all times. Staff are still unable to help residents unload their materials, so please consider this before your visit.
